Ottawa Fashion week is a 3 day event that happens at the National Art Gallery of Canada in Ottawa. It was a beautiful experience performing at this venue. There is a huge walk way (like a ramp) that has several hundred foot high ceilings all made of window. The length of the walk way is quite long. I was at the bottom of this walk way on a stage with Mailyne doing live painting. Once the fashion show was done, there were hundreds of people walking towards me and moving around the stage getting wine and taking pictures. It was a really beautiful site watching this mob of people slowly come to me and than kind of disperse. Mailyne did a beautiful painting job. The last day was a charity fashion show and we donated the painting with one of my CD/DVD compilations to help raise money. Here are some pictures from the show! I was so grateful that Mailynes partner in crime Kyle took video and photos of the performance and Ming Wu a talented local Ottawa event photographer took some great photos of the event too!

A blog takes a little bit of time and effort, but I find it’s a lot of fun. I think you could absolutely easily set one up. It’s super easy if you go through Godaddy.com because they have good phone support and they can help you set it up over the phone (wordpress). In terms of themes, I use the Arras theme, I like it because it has a lot of support. Make sure the theme you choose has a lot of details and support regarding learning how to use it. Also it’s important to know SEO and key words so people can easily find your blog. So basically to start, get a host (for your website) and domain name through godaddy, than choose a theme and make a plan on what to write and blog about. Also make sure you have fun… that is the most important part.
